Research activities
The research activities at the institute are predominantly based on the research areas of sealing technology and machine elements, as well as the Stuttgart Research Center for Reliability Engineering. The institute's philosophy includes a close interaction between the areas of research, teaching and industry. At the institute, the highest value is placed on the practical relevance of research.
