Directions
By car
Take the A8 (coming from Stuttgart or Karlsruhe) or take the A81 (coming from Singen or Heilbronn) until you reach the Stuttgart intersection, then take the A831 in the direction of "Stuttgart-Zentrum" and after the tunnel take the exit "Universität", then follow the detailed map to the parking lots.
By public transport
Coming from Stuttgart main station ("Hauptbahnhof") you can take a cab to the university. Alternatively you can follow the green 'S' signs and take one of the trains of the lines S1, S2 or S3 in the direction of Vaihingen / Rohr or Böblingen / Herrenberg or Flughafen. Please get off at the stop "Universität". It is best to leave the stop in the direction of "Universitätszentrum". If you have not purchased a DB ticket valid to "Universität", you must purchase a ticket at a ticket machine before entering the underground S-Bahn stop at the main station or any other boarding stop you have chosen.
By plane
The airport of Stuttgart is located about 10 km from the university. A cab from the airport takes you here in about 15 minutes. Alternatively you can follow the green 'S' signs in the airport building and take one of the S2 or S3 trains in the direction of "Schorndorf" or "Backnang" and get off at the "Universität" stop. It is best to leave the stop in the direction of "Universitätszentrum". Before entering the underground S-Bahn station in the airport building, please buy a ticket.
