In the project, a holistic lightweight construction approach is pursued, which includes the optimised integration of alternative drive components into the car body. Depending on the design, there may be considerable repercussions on the structure of the car body and the mass distribution, which in turn can significantly influence the vehicle dynamic behaviour. In order to take this important aspect into account in the early concept phase, the Chair of Rail Vehicle Technology is researching a systematic approach to vehicle dynamic optimisation in the early concept phase within the joint project.
The joint project AnoWaAS is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) under the funding code 03LB2018F based on a resolution of the German Bundestag.
